First "official day" of Summer Break

Monday was James David's first day of summer break. The family went to Red Top Mountain to hike and picnic. The kids love going and we always have a good time. It was a perfect day (except for the fact James David and Abbey both wanted to be carried by the end of our hike). When they get a little older I look forward to some "real hiking!"

Four Points "Out of School Picnic"

Last Sunday our church held an out of school picnic. We grilled burgers and hotdogs, had pony rides, face painting, drawings, and fun games for the kids. We had an incredible turn out and had so much fun! The kids LOVED it! Here are some pics from the day...

Abbey's Dance Recital

Abbey's first dance recital was last Saturday. She was so excited! She did a tap dance to "Candy Girl." The theme of the recital was "Awesome 80's." They wouldn't let me take pictures during the recital but I did get some shots before and after. She was such a cutie!!

James David's Kindergarten Graduation

James David graduated from Kindergarten last week. He was so sweet. His school had held the event in the gymnasium which was packed out. My mom and my brother's family were able to be here. He is now a first grader...so hard to believe!

Abbey's last day of preschool

Abbey's last day of preschool was last week. Her school had an "out of school" carnival. We had a picnic before we left. She will be in the four year program next year and go three days a week. I'm going to cherish every second of her "last year" before kindergarten.
